Richard Grantham is down and out, on his uppers, skint. His friend Vicky tries to recruit him to the BNP but Richard doesn't want to join a bunch of extreme right-wing loonies, so she finds him a job instead, house-sitting for a mysterious millionaire in a vast Hampstead mansion. Ten percent of the way into this book and I knew who and how it was going to end. The protagonist, if you can call him that, must be some sort of idiot to see all the signs and not figure it out. Yet we're supposed to believe he's some sort of martial arts and weapons expert who gains the trust of the US Secret Service.The bottom line is don't waste your time reading this dreck.

Very good read, as usual by this author - excellent story and well written.
Now looking for more books by this author.
